Our Stories: Rachael Claxton–“You realize just how much of a value and luxury it is to just go out”

Rachel Claxton

“Before, with me away at a boarding school and my sister a senior in high school, the grocery stock in my house remained pretty constant. Now, with four people (and a dog) under a single roof 24/7, eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, our family saw an increase in the amount of times we needed to go out in get groceries. It’s an interesting realization, how having to stay inside all the time makes you realize just how much of a value and luxury it is to just go out. And now, it seems like there’s a need to go out, whether that’s to get groceries, to go to work to earn money, to get food, or just simply to get exercise.”
