Over spring break, Dr. Hall and Ms. English took us to Germany and the Czech Republic for an unforgettable trip.

We first went to Berlin, where we explored a flea market, saw the Berlin Wall, and went on a boat tour that took us around Berlin to see all of the city’s famous architecture. Along with that, we also got to experience a lot of Berlin’s culture through our free afternoons where we were able to set off by ourselves to explore. From there, we drove to Dresden and saw the famous royal house on an amazing tour. We then went to Prague and saw the Mala Strana and Charles Bridge, some of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Then we drove to Nuremberg, then Munich, and ended our trip by seeing the Neuschwanstein Castle, a structure that inspired many of Walt Disney’s most famous princess castles. It was so interesting to see so many sights that had such a historical importance, as well as being visually stunning.

Although we all struggled to learn German and appeared very touristy to the locals, the trip was super memorable, from funny inside jokes to emotional history that will leave a lasting impression.
