Not many LFA students know about the beneficial “oversleeping pass” that LFA offers. This pass has several measures that try to prevent students from being punished for accidentally sleeping in on weekdays. As Ms. Zaiff says, “We’re all human”.

The following are the basic parameters of the oversleeping pass:

  • Every student at LFA, both boarders and day students, are given one oversleeping pass per semester.
  • Students are not given points for the classes that they miss.
  • Students are not exempt from the tests or homework that they miss.
  • An oversleeping pass must be used only when the student accidentally oversleep, students must not plan on using their oversleeping pass.
  • The student will not be penalized for the periods that they miss.
