Hands down the top dish at Nando’s is the Flame-Grilled Chicken. Smothered in the Peri-Peri sauce to your liking (six choices), the tender chicken fills your mouth with an array of sensations. You can choose a spicy, mild, sweet, or tangy route when it comes to your desired flavors and heat levels. This main dish goes well with a side of the legendary corn on the cob and garlic bread.

#2: Chicken Breast Sandwich

A solid second choice for an entrée, one of the best parts of the Chicken Breast Sandwich is the toasted Portuguese roll. With flame-grilled on the inside along with arugula, pickled red onions, and of course Peri-Peri mayo it is one of the more flavorful sandwiches we’ve ever had. Also coming in a rather small portion, the sandwich is a great medium sized option.

#3 Hummus with Peri-Peri Drizzle

Leading the way for appetizers on the Nando’s menu is the hummus with pita. Hummus and pita is definitely a classic dish in many restaurants however this rendition takes on a whole new dimension with the drizzle of Peri-Peri in the center and warm, fresh, and fluffy pita bread on the side. This is by far our favorite starter dish.

#4 Caesar Salad

The fourth best dish at Nando’s has got to be the Caesar Salad. The crisp green romaine lettuce covered in Caesar dressing and house made croutons is a mouthwatering experience. If you’re feeling adventurous, order the salad with the flame-grilled chicken and drizzle your choice of Peri-Peri sauce on top.

#5 Chocolate Spoon Cake

To top off a delicious dinner you have to have a great dessert. While in Chicago, most people might go to a place that specializes in dessert but at Nando’s the Chocolate Spoon Cake covers all of your dessert cravings. A side of whipped cream counters the rich chocolate flavors from the moist and soft cake and icing.
