Chicago MC Lupe Fiasco will present at All School Meeting

LFA’s All School Meeting will feature famous Chicago MC Lupe Fiasco, presented by the Black Student Union. Fiasco, whose real name is Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, has released 5 studio albums, with his 6th album set to release this Friday, February 10th.

Raised in Chicago, Fiasco burst onto the scene in 2006 with his first studio album Food & Liquor.  The album received 3 GRAMMY nominations. He has released many hit songs, such as Superstar, Words I Never Said, and The Show Goes On.

In addition to music, he has ventured into other businesses. He has his own clothing lines, and is the Chief Executive Officer of 1st&15th Entertainment. He also is an avid Street Fighter player.

He is also known for his controversial political beliefs. He is anti-war, as expressed in his hit song Words I Never Said. During President Barack Obama’s Inauguration, he was removed after repeating the Anti-Obama song. He is not afraid to speak his mind, something that has helped make him successful in his music and career.
